Matthew Potter

Matthew joined the team in 2009 and is a Partner and a co-founder of Pollen Street Capital. Matthew leads the Credit Strategy and is responsible for all asset-based lending at Pollen Street. He has more than 15 years’ experience in credit and private equity investing.

Matthew manages the credit investment team and oversees portfolio construction, with an extensive track record leading credit investments across a range of asset classes, structures and geographies. He also has experience sitting on the boards of UK and Italian challenger banks as a Non-Executive Director. He sits on the Credit Investment Committee.

Prior to Pollen Street, Matthew worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland managing the Special Opportunities Fund and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC where he spent four years in their Corporate Finance Department.
