Aryza acquires Umbrella Tech

We are pleased to announce that Aryza has agreed to acquire Umbrella Tech (“Umbrella”), a fast-growing voice AI-enabled collections technology provider with a strong and growing position in the Canadian debt collection market. Founded in Oct-23, it has evolved rapidly into a trusted partner for debt collection agencies seeking to automate collections workflows. This acquisition further expands Aryza’s presence in Canada, adds to the group’s capabilities and strengthens its AI collections offering by adding a complementary voice capability that Webio (mainly text channel) customers are already requesting, providing a clear upsell opportunity.

This acquisition marks Aryza’s first transaction of 2026 and fifteenth since 2018, further strengthening Aryza’s ambition to be the leading global provider of SaaS solutions for businesses serving customers across the credit lifecycle. Aryza has built a strong end-to-end proposition that supports core processes across credit and debt management, delivering significant gains in efficiency and effectiveness for its clients, which the acquisition of Umbrella will further enhance.
