BIK Announces Acquisition of Profi Insurance

We are pleased to announce that BIK Group has acquired Profi Insurance (“Profi”), a leading insurance multi-agency headquartered in Krakow, Poland. Profi has grown to become an important regional player in Southern Poland, with a well-established and growing network of agents providing services to a broad client base. We believe Profi is a highly complementary acquisition for BIK, and will augment the strong recent growth of the company’s Retail business through both expanding its distribution network as well as allowing the Group to further leverage its recent investments in technology to support this channel strategy. The acquisition supports Profi’s growth strategy in Poland, adding further geographic reach to offer coverage across the country either online, by phone or in person to service retail customers through whichever delivery method they prefer.

The acquisition of Profi is BIK’s third strategic acquisition in the last 6 months, following the Group’s purchases of the CEE businesses of April International in December 2020, and Punkta, a leading Polish online price comparison site, in February 2021.
